Not only children frequent the Bregenzerwald natural sled runs with great pleasure. Especially in the evening hours, cheerful groups can be found steering their sledges down into the valley.
Neuhornbach ‘Rodelbahn’ sled run
Sled rental from Neuhornbachhaus, 1.700 m above sea level, to Schoppernau.
Price: € 7.00 per person, with the WinterCard € 2.00 reduction.

Grunholz ‘Rodelbahn’ sled run Bergkristall-Hütte
Sledge hire: € 6.00 for a whole morning, afternoon or evening. Reduction with the WinterCard. With the season ticket and the 3 TälerPass, lift transport is included. Evening runs or 10-ride tickets are available. When the lift is in operation, night sledding on the Grunholz lift every Wednesday evening and Friday evening from 19:00 - 22:00!
Snowtube-Bahn
For a deposit of € 10.00, the "Snowtubes" can be borrowed from the Au Tourist Office during opening hours. Snow tubes are only handed out in the company of supervisors over the age of 14!
Bergkristall-Hütte ‘Rodelbahn’ Sled run
The prepared winter hiking trail to the Bergkristall-Hütte is also an excellent sledding route from the Godlachenalpe trailhead. However, it is recommended to continue hiking to the Bergkristall-Hütte in the Vorsäß Boden. This tranquil and beautiful valley is closed off by the towering limestone peaks of Zitterklapfen and Annalper Stecken. After a cosy stop for refreshments, return along the same path until the steepness of the trail allows you to whizz down into the valley on a sledge.
