The Bregenzerwald vacation region attracts visitors with well-developed and little-used winding mountain roads and mountain passes that are unique in the world, from the Hochtannberg Pass, Furkajoch to Stilfserjoch, approx. 59 passes in total, which can be tackled on day tours from the Alpen Hotel Post.

Vorarlberg has long since ceased to be just an Eldorado for mountain enthusiasts, hikers and cyclists. The numerous mountain roads with magnificent panoramic views and numerous passes and hairpin bends are increasingly making bikers' hearts beat faster too.

Roads in perfect condition allow bikers to easily cover up to 300 kilometers in one day. Charming routes that not only make you want to step on the gas, but also to take a break at the perfectly maintained rest stops with unique panoramic views in the middle of the "most beautiful mountains in the world" of the Alps.

However, the vacation resort of Au-Schoppernau also offers breaks from biking itself. Nordic walking, hiking, mountaineering, climbing and rafting offer variety for a diverse vacation.

The sausage with sauerkraut and mustard in the original Vinschger on the Stilfserjoch is a must.
On the descent from the Timmelsjoch towards Italy, the Gasthaus Hochfirst, tip: try the shepherd's noodles.
At the Reschensee, a stop at the church in the lake is a must.

The Edelweißhütte at the foot of the Kanisfluh can be reached via a gravel road, only the last 5 minutes have to be covered on foot.

It's easy for Christian to tailor a tour to suit you and experience all the insider highlights on the route with you. What could be better: pure biking, Christian does the rest with his Ducati from the Alpen Hotel Post.

The Alpen Hotel Post is the best starting point for tours from Lake Constance to the Timmelsjoch or towards the Stilfserjoch and back via the Ofenpass, Flüela Pass through Switzerland.
